Disposable GlovesArmour Safety GUARANTEE to better the price of any other supplier on disposable gloves to end users.
Disposable Gloves are made for a single application. All gloves are ambidextrous (can be used on either hand) and come in boxes of 100 gloves. They can be either lightly powdered for ease of putting on and taking off, or unpowdered if you are working in a zero contaminant environment. Disposable gloves can be made of 4 materials and the price of the gloves increases as the strength and durabilty of the material they are made of increases. The materials in order of strength are plastic (PE), vinyl, latex and nitrile. Vinyl is the premium food handling material for gloves as it is durable, economic and hygienic. Vinyl gloves can either be clear or blue, and come in sizes S to XL. Armour Safety also sell vinyl gloves in barcoded retail packs of 10 gloves in sizes M and L. Armour's Vinyl gloves are typically 20% heavier in weight (over 6g for a size L glove) and therefore stronger than most other vinyl gloves on the market. Latex gloves are made of premium grade natural rubber. They are slightly more expensive than vinyl, but are closer fitting providing better dexterity and sensitivity. Latex gloves are commonly used in medical situations and come in XS to XL. Some people may have an allergy or intolerance to latex and in this case they should use a nitrile glove. Nitrile is a synthetic material that has a high chemical resistance particularly when used with petrol, oils, grease, diesel, hydraulic fluids, acids, solvents, paint thinners, strong cleaners, disinfectants and most alkalis that would break down the other disposable gloves very quickly. Nitrile also has a high puncture resistance so provides increased protection from abrasion or risk of cut. Armour's nitrile gloves are powder free and extra durable. Do the test - can your current nitrile glove be stretched past your elbow without tearing? Sizes from S to 2XL. The standard glove is 240mm long however a 300mm glove is also available. BE AWARE - Not all disposable gloves are the same. Ask for samples and try them out.
