Safety vests are able to be screenprinted to provide branding and advise the public of the role of the wearer. Common things to print on the back of the vest are words like "SECURITY", "VISITOR", "CREW", "STAFF", "VOLUNTEER" or "OFFICIAL". Vests can be printed on the front, back or both. The typical placement of the front print is on the pocket on the left breast. This is the only place an orange vest is able to be printed if it is to remain TTMC (Transit NZ) compliant. Screenprinting can be in any colour or a variety of colours - so long as you have your logo in a .jpg, .gif or .pdf format we can use it. We can also screenprint using reflective lettering for night time use.
A small black print on the front pocket can cost from as little as $3.50 plus GST per vest depending on the volumes. There may also be a setup cost to make the initial screen.
Vests can also be embroidered. This is generally a more expensive exercise than screenprinting however the branding is likely to last longer and look better, depending on how often the vest will be washed.
Armour Safety would be happy to quote you to have your vests printed or embroidered. Make sure when getting quotes for screenprinting whether or not the provider will rebag the vests as this is very time consuming and most will not. Armour Safety provide this service.
