PVC GlovesPVC Gloves provide excellent resistance to most oils, fats, acids, bases, hydrocarbons and many other chemicals at a reasonable price. They also keep the hands dry in wet situations where more protection is required than is offered by a thin rubber glove, and have better abrasion resistance in most instances than rubber (latex). PVC gloves are not recommended for use with solvents, acetates, ketones or ethers.
Armour Safety carries a full range of PVC gloves. All of our PVC gloves have a brushed cotton internal lining for comfort, and come in 3 sizes depending on the length of the cuff which should be measured from the tip of the longest finger. The sizes are 27cm (a normal hand sized glove just covering the wrist), 35cm (covering half the forearm) and 45cm (covering the forearm to the elbow) Our premium Green PVC gloves are double dipped to provide greater protection and durability. They have a sandy palm finish to provide grip. The economy Red PVC gloves are single dipped and have a smooth finish. Our Black 27cm glove is double dipped and has a special palm chip surface providing excellent wet grip and cut resistance. This glove is often used by the fishing industry. Most PVC gloves have an open wrist however Armour Safety also have a red PVC 27cm glove with a closed knit wrist to stop unwanted material getting inside the glove.
