Red Rubber Glove
If you have a job that requires maximum protection for the palm and fingers then this could be the glove for you. The glove has a loosely woven, strong cotton liner and elasticised knit wrist to stop unwanted materials getting inside the glove. The liner provides some protection for the back of the hand and wrist while still allowing the glove to breathe. The palm and fingers are coated with a thick red/orange "A" grade rubber in a stippled pattern to protect in the most extreme handling conditions and provide good grip. The rubber is continued over the top of the fingers for protection and durability.
This is not the glove if you need good feel - in this case try the Green/Yellow latex. This glove is often used for handling concrete, bricks and other masonry products. It is also used by the wine/grape industry for bud rubbing. The equivalent glove is known as the Gripper or Resistor glove.
Beware of gloves that may look the same but are inferior and will have the rubber peeling off in a short period of time. It is a false economy to pay a slightly reduced price for a glove that lasts half as long.
